Bandage is a Lebanese rock band founded back in 2004 and has been one of the active pioneers in the Lebanese music scene since then. Don’t miss their staple performance at Summer Fusion 2016 on August 27th at Mocean Kaslik!
Check out their interview…
How and when did you start in the Lebanese music scene?
We started BandAge back in 2004. Our very first performance was at the Galaxy Shopping Center. It was beautiful! The crowd enjoyed it and we made a lot of mistakes.
Who does your current lineup consist of?
Nathalie J. BandAge – Vocals
Roland Azar – Keyboards
Ralph Khoury – Guitars
Rany Battikh – Bass Guitar
Tony Abou Haydar – Drums
What style do you perform? Do you perform cover songs or play originals?
Rock – Hard Rock (sometimes, depending on our mood).
We perform both originals and covers. You can’t just play originals in the Lebanese music scene. You gotta give the crowd a taste of covers of the hits that they grew up to and enjoy.
Who are your influences?
Joe Satriani, Vai, Jordan Rudess, Queen, Pink Floyd, Angra, Symphony X, Bon Jovi…
What is your purpose behind performing and making music?
We are music lovers, we enjoy playing music, and it is who we are… It makes us feel good, and that’s quite a great purpose!
What do you think of the Lebanese music scene?
Our music scene is one hell of a survivor scene with lots of great energy and potential. We never gave up on it, and we never will.
What can we expect from you at Summer Fusion 2016?
Awesomeness all the way! It’s one of our best outdoor concerts of the year!
RockRing are proving that they are the best and most dedicated organizers throughout the years. We can’t thank them enough!
What are your plans for the future?
Keep doing what we enjoy best. Keep rock alive, record our newest single “Back in Time”, and release a music video (hopefully).
